Do you have a question regarding your EXPO registration? Did you not get a confirmation email?
If you did not receive a confirmation email please be sure to check your spam/junk folders to ensure it did not get filtered out. Will my ASCAP Experience registration fee give me access to all events and workshops or are there additional admission costs?
The registration fee will grant you access to all on-site events related to the Experience*, including special evening entertainment. A detailed schedule of all panels and events will be posted online closer to the date of the ASCAP Experience. Each registration also includes access to stream all of the ASCAP Experience panels after the event.
Your registration fee does not include Mentor Sessions or Coffee Connections available. These opportunities are both available for purchase during registration. Please note that there are a limited number of Mentor Sessions and Coffee Connections available, and they sell out every year.
*Some events may face capacity limitations, so while your registration provides you access, entry is subject to building code regulations.
Can I register a group of people? Is there a group rate?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register as a group. If your group is over five people, there may be a discounted group rate. Student groups over 10 people will receive additional discounts.
Can I make changes to the information I gave you during registration?
Yes, you can make changes through your profile on the site. Email email@example.com if you are having difficulties.
Is it possible to register for just one day If I can't attend the whole event?
The way the ASCAP Experience is designed, it is most beneficial for registrants to attend all three days to gain the most from the experience. Single-day passes may become available closer to the event depending on capacity.
When does the ASCAP Experience start? When does it end?
Official ASCAP Experience programming will begin on Wednesday, April 1 no later than 10 am and end on Friday, April 3 no later than 11 pm*. There will be panels throughout all three days and a number of events each evening.

When can I pick up my badge?
Registration and badge pickup will be available beginning the evening of Tuesday, March 31, 2020 and on Wednesday, April 1 beginning at 8:00 am Registration and badge pickup will also be open during the day on April 2 and 3.*

Are you accepting volunteers or interns for this event?

How do I make changes to my online profile?
All changes must be made via a laptop or desktop computer until the launch of our mobile app.
When is the mobile app launching?
Be on the lookout for the app dropping in early 2020!
How do I access the community?
The community is only available through the mobile app. You must be a registered ASCAP Experience attendee to access the community. In order to gain access, you must use the email associated with your registration.
Can I still get a MENTOR Session?
There are limited Mentor Sessions made available for an additional $39 processing fee. Mentor Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis and sell out quickly every year! Simply select the Mentor Session when purchasing your pass. If you've already bought a pass and would like to add the Mentor Session please email the ASCAP Experience Team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I buy multiple Mentor Sessions?
Due to limited availability, only one Mentor Session can be purchased per attendee.
How do I take advantage of my Mentor Session? Can I choose exactly who I want to be paired with?
If you choose to purchase a Mentor Session, your confirmation email will explain in detail how the process works. You can purchase your ticket as soon as the ASCAP Experience registration opens. Between two to six weeks in advance of ASCAP Experience, you will receive an email notification letting you know the Mentors for 2020 and exactly when Mentor Session registration will open. A link will be emailed at the opening time allowing you to select the one you think is the best fit for you and your goals. These sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and each mentor will be limited to meet with six people.
PERFORMANCE & GET HEARD OPPORTUNITIES
Can everyone perform at the ASCAP Experience?
All paid registrants will be eligible to submit to perform but registering for the ASCAP Experience doesn't guarantee you a performance slot. In addition to performance opportunities, there will also be other chances to get your music heard through Feedback Panels (which involve recorded songs, not live performances), Mentor Sessions and onsite open mics and networking events. All of these opportunities will be announced closer to the date of the event.
WILL THERE BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY IN A SHOWCASE?
Yes! Submission details will be rolled out throughout the months leading up to the event.
CAN I SUBMIT TO MORE THAN ONE Participate/Perform OPPORTUNITY?
Yes! You can submit to each Participate/Perform opportunity once, provided the terms and conditions for each submission are met.
For the Feedback submissions, can I submit just lyrics (or just music/beats)?
These particular panels are designed to cover 1) finished songs that include both lyrics and music or 2) compositions for film and TV. Submission details will be announced at a later date.
Has my song/composition been selected for the Feedback Panel?
If your song/composition is selected, you will be notified by email ahead of the event.
What is the cancellation/refund policy? How do I cancel?
Cancellations received prior to February 1, 2020 will receive a full refund, less a 15% processing fee. Cancellations received between February 1, 2020 and February 28, 2020 will receive a 50% refund. There will be no refunds after February 28, 2019. In the unfortunate event you need to cancel, please email email@example.com. Your refund will be honored from the timestamp listed on your email.
