How do I access live panels?
On web (see compatible browsers below), either click the "View Agenda" button in your confirmation email OR click to access a session in the agenda page and verify your email address. On the app, you will be prompted to login either using your ticket number (located in your confirmation email) or by verifying your email address.
Which browser should I use to access the sessions?
We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox browsers. Safari is not recommended.
I'm having trouble seeing the live stream, even though I'm registered. How can I fix this?
Your browser may have an issue with third-party cookies. Here's what you can try to resolve the problem:
- Chrome: go to Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Site Settings -> Cookies & Save Data -> Uncheck Third Party Cookies.
- Firefox: go to Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Browser Privacy -> Change Setting to Custom -> uncheck Cookies and Tracking Content
- Edge: go to Settings -> Privacy and Services -> Tracking Prevention -> Change the default "Balanced" to "Basic"
Turn off Privacy Mode:
- Ensure your browsers are not set to Private Mode. The system must verify your IP address to confirm your registration.
Clear your cookies and cache:
- The page is occasionally updated for maintenance and your browser may be saving old information. Clear your cookies and cache to see if this resolves the issue.
What is the ASCAP Experience: Home Edition?
Since we can’t all gather for our annual ASCAP Experience in Los Angeles this year, we decided to bring it to you. Look for original, live Experience content every week featuring hit music creators, industry leaders, creative dynamos, financial experts and more. Our slate of curated programming will include creative workshops, sessions on monetizing your music, wellness panels and much more - all aimed at supporting our music creator community.
Who is the ASCAP Experience: Home Edition created for?
ASCAP Experience: Home Edition is open to all music creators, music industry professionals and students, regardless of which performing rights organization you belong to (or if you don’t belong to a PRO, that’s cool too).
How long will the ASCAP Experience run for?
Currently, the ASCAP Experience is set to begin on May 28, 2020 and will run through at least July 2020.
How much does registration cost?
Registration is free and open to ASCAP members and non-members alike.

Once I register, can I access any session?
Yes! We only ask that those who sign up please plan to attend at least one live session - the more you tune in for, the more value you’ll get!
What times will sessions take place?
Most programming will begin Thursdays at 12 PM PT/3 PM ET and end at 3 PM PT/ 6 PM ET. There may be additional programs presented on different days as well. Keep an eye on your email inbox and on the ASCAP Experience: Home Edition website for all up-to-date information.
How do I access the live panels?
You will be able to access all live sessions via the Agenda page or through our mobile app. Please check the "Tech Troubleshooting" section of this page for more detail.
Can I ask a question during a live session?
For sessions with audience engagement activated, we'll have a chat feature to the right of the video window where you can post questions/comments.
If I miss a session, can I view it later?
Yes, most sessions will be posted for on-demand access within 72 hours.
How do I access the app?
You must be registered for ASCAP Experience: Home Edition to gain access. You can access the app by searching “ASCAP Experience” in the Android and iOS app store or by clicking here on mobile.
What can I use the app for?
The app can be used to view live streams, network with other registrants via the community, create a custom agenda, view panelist bios and engage in social sharing.
How do I search in the community?
You can use the built-in search filters or use the search box to narrow down by type of creator. For example, type "songwriter" in the search box and all attendees who listed "songwriter" in their profile will appear.
